Country code and national category are separate
Arcep's French numbering plan identifies metropolitan France with +33 and distinguishes mobile ranges beginning 06 and parts of 07 in the national format from other categories such as 01–05 and 09. The broad country code is not proof that a supplier number is mobile, non-VoIP or acceptable to a platform. Some overseas territories have different international codes; do not assume every French-language or French-territory form means metropolitan +33.
Match the region and exact entry format
If the receiving service requires France, select France there and in the France-filtered directory. Follow its phone-field instructions, especially when it already displays +33; copying a number with the prefix into a field that adds it can duplicate the code.
