Discord's verification article explicitly excludes VoIP, burner and landline numbers. A country code or paid offer does not establish a mobile classification for an individual supplier number. ReadyOTP makes no non-VoIP or success claim for the current inventory. If Discord needs a number that remains attached to an account, a temporary order also creates a future-access risk after its assigned expiry.

Distinguish Discord’s phone errors

Discord's phone-error guide separates an invalid or unusable number from a number already registered to another Discord account. The first calls for checking format and type. The second is an account-association issue: a new SMS request to the same number does not remove it from the other account. Discord also has rate or recently-used limits, so follow the timer or help route shown rather than making repeated purchases.

A silent ReadyOTP inbox after Discord has rejected the number is not an SMS delivery problem. The sender must accept the number and issue a code before an SMS can appear.

If the current flow permits an SMS attempt

Resolve the outcome before another order

What does “phone already registered” mean?

Discord says a phone can be registered with only one account at a time. Follow its instructions for the other association; another SMS request does not unlink it.

Will changing country fix an unsupported type?

Not by itself. Discord’s number-type rule is separate from the country selection.

What if Discord says the number is invalid?

Read its error guide, check the requested format and type, and avoid repeated code requests to a number Discord already rejected.

Can I use a one-time number for later Discord checks?

Do not assume access after the assigned expiry. Choose a number you can retain if future verification could depend on it.
