SMS code not received: what to check

If an SMS code does not appear, begin with the active order instead of assuming a delivery delay. The receiving platform decides whether to send a code, and the order shows the number, any received message, and its actual expiry.

Check the request you made

  1. Confirm you selected the intended service and country before ordering.
  2. Use the assigned number exactly as displayed. If the platform has a separate country selector, avoid duplicating its dialing prefix.
  3. Confirm that you actually requested a code from the service and that it did not show a number-type or region error.

Read the order status

Open the SMS tab and check whether the order is still waiting, has received a message, or has expired. The displayed expiry determines the active window; it is separate from a top-up quote. Refresh the order when needed. There is no guaranteed code arrival time, and repeated requests at the receiving service may be limited by that service.

Consider platform acceptance

A service entry in the catalogue does not guarantee that the platform accepts every virtual or temporary number. For example, Discord says it does not support VoIP, burner or landline numbers for phone verification; see its official verification guidance. Use the receiving platform’s own error message and rules to decide whether another permitted option makes sense.

Close the order correctly

While an order is waiting with no received SMS, an eligible cancellation may return its charge to account balance. An unanswered expiry can also qualify under the server policy. Once a message arrives, the no-message cancellation option ends. See expiry and cancellation and check History for the final balance record.

Choose the next action from the actual state

Telegram may send the code inside an existing app session.Wait within the active window if the sender accepted the request; use its allowed resend path only when prompted. If the number is rejected, stop retrying that type. An eligible no-message cancellation may return account credit.
Message receivedThe code reached the order, but the sender may still reject an old or incorrect code.Use the newest requested code in the same service flow. The no-message cancellation option has ended. Follow the sender’s error if verification fails.
Expired unanswered or cancelledThe order is over. Its final status and any balance return should be visible in History.Read the recorded outcome before another order. If an eligible credit is missing, retain the order reference for support once a channel is available.

Only consider another purchase after identifying the previous outcome and changing a real cause: a permitted country, a supported number type or a corrected entry format. Buying the same rejected type again does not change the receiving platform’s rules. WhatsApp’s official eligibility rules and Telegram’s alternate code channel can answer service-specific questions.
